The 1980s

The Thatched House Mühlenfeld is surrounded by the Mühlenfeld (the "mill field") and the Mühlenwiese (the "mill meadow"). The threshing floor (the "Tenne", in northern Germany also known as the tan hall) - which is the paved floor of a barn on which the grain was threshed with flails after harvesting - still testifies the history of the house....
